The mixture combines classic ingredients such as star anise, fennel, pepper, cinnamon and ginger with salt, sugar and flavor enhancers, creating a distinctively aromatic, spicy taste experience - perfect for homemade fillings.

  3. Pour into batter, shape into baozi and steam for 15-20 minutes.

🥟 Jiaozi with minced meat and Chinese cabbage

Preparation:

  1. Mix 300 g minced meat with chopped Chinese cabbage and ½ teaspoon of the spice mixture.
  2. Fill the jiaozi dough circles and close them into a half-moon shape.
  3. Boil in hot water for 5-7 minutes or pan fry.
