📖 More about the product

What is the white mushroom (Tremella fuciformis)?
The Tremella mushroom - also known as snow mushroom or silver ear - is one of the most popular ingredients in traditional Chinese cuisine and medicine. It is known for its jelly-like consistency, its neutral taste and its valuable nutrients. It is particularly valued in Asian cuisine for its supposed skin-care, immune-boosting and cooling properties.

Why is the Tremella mushroom so popular?
The white mushroom is an excellent source of plant-based protein and is almost fat-free. It can be used in a variety of ways - both in sweet dishes such as desserts with red dates or goji berries as well as in hearty, traditional medicinal herbal soups. Its gel-like structure makes it particularly pleasant in consistency and makes every soup a special experience.

A real superfood of Asian cuisine
In Chinese health cuisine, Tremella is considered the “queen of mushrooms” for the skin – it is said to have skin-rejuvenating, moisturizing and anti-inflammatory properties. It is also commonly used in vegan and vegetarian diets as a gelling agent and source of nutrients.
