Umeshu is a traditional Japanese fruit wine made from the so-called ume plum. This fruit is actually a type of apricot with a particularly intense aroma. Umeshu is characterized by its fruity sweetness, balanced acidity and a soft mouthfeel - a popular classic in Japanese drinking culture.
